Built in Japan by Matsushita at the top of the Technics range, the SE-A100 is a stereo power amplifier based on the famous Class AA circuit. The idea: four amplifiers in one chassis, two per channel. A Class A amplifier controls the voltage, while a second stage delivers the current. The result: the finesse and smoothness of Class A, with the energy reserve and bass control of a big amplifier. It drives demanding speakers with ease.

And what a look: two large backlit logarithmic power meters, from 0.0001 W to 300 W, operation indicators for the voltage and current stages, and the black front panel typical of Technics’ golden era.

It makes a perfect pair with the matching Technics SU-A200 preamplifier, or with any good preamp.
