Released in 1981, the Korg Polysix is a classic 6-voice polyphonic analog synthesizer. Its signature: a warm, round sound, very musical SSM filters and a Chorus / Phase / Ensemble effects section that delivers huge pads and strings.

This unit has been fitted with the KiwiSix upgrade from Kiwitechnics, which replaces the original KLM-367 board – the Polysix’s well-known weak point, often damaged by a leaking backup battery. The result: a reliable, modern and far more capable instrument, with nothing lost from the original sound.

It also features the new Synthgraphics front panel, screen-printed with all the KiwiSix functions. A real everyday plus: every extra function can be read straight off the panel, no manual needed, with a quality finish true to the original.

What the KiwiSix adds

• MIDI In / Out, with separately adjustable input and output channels
• MIDI CC control of all parameters and SysEx patch backup
• 1024 patch memories, organised in banks
• Chord Mode and many additional functions
